“WOR Events are pleased to announce a very busy and SUNNY weekend's sport that lies ahead this coming weekend. (10/11 th May 2008).

Saturday sees a very popular Race Experience day take place with practice/advice and mini race from 10 am till 3pm.

Then from 3.30pm until 5.30pm is the second round of the FMF JUNIOR HARE SCRAMBLES SERIES.

Specific to youth riders only and catering for all youth solo machines, will see a superb flowing mount side circuit give the riders a huge blast in the sky's with loads of technical bits and bob's thrown in to give the riders a great days scrambling.

Round 1, a month ago was very well received and entries are flooding in for this 2 nd of 6 round series.

 

Then on Sunday 11 th is the first round of The MICHELIN FAST CROSS….this series was due to kick off in March but the weather put paid to that and it is now in hopefully sunny weather (forecast good) that it will start.

 

The MICHELIN FAST CROSS is a new format for WOR and one that should bring fun and enjoyment on a dirt bike for everyone taking part.

Run over a 5 mile fast and flowing circuit each rider will get 2 x 1 hour races that will be pooled to create on overall result.

There will be extra points awarded for the hole shot in each race.

 

The venue offers great parking and stunning views, camping is FREE and available from Friday night and the track its self soars up into the mountains on totally ride able flowing fields and farm tracks, twisting back down through bracken strewn sheep tracks and onto a manmade enduro trail back to the paddock and lap scoring/pits area.

Entries are open right through this week and up to Saturday and Sun morn.

 

Also at the same venue (revised track) on the following Wednesday night will be round 1 of the CF RACING Wednesday night Cross Country series.

Starting at 6.30pm for 2 hours will see a class for everyone enjoy some midweek madness on their dirt bikes in this 3 round summer special.
