Running the day before race day on more or less the same track as the Main event ( some easier bits and lesser skilled riders can by pass any bits they dont fancy)
Steve Ireland and his WOR team along with the Rathdrum Off road Maestro, Merv Griffin will be on hand to help any new or lesser experienced riders that want tips or info on progressing the sport riding wise etc.
Below is some info to whats Steve's EPD / RED (Race Experience Days) are about in the UK... These have become the mainstay of the WOR Enduro Sport organisation and by far outweigh the races in terms of rider participation throughout the year.
The ENDURO PLAYDAY day is a real fun affair... SOLOS ONLY - NO QUADS
There is no "race day" pressure and we hope riders do not feel intimidated as the EPD events are planned at having fun and learn a bit in a friendly and safe environment. The EPD offers riders plenty of unrestricted bike time, advice from our very experienced crew and the opportunity to ride with no pressure on some of the best laid out Enduro tracks in the UK.
Kicking off at 10am the riders get unlimited practice on the enduro/hare n hounds course (we have a different venue for every event) ..Finish at 3pm... Last lap approx 2.40pm
Riders can go back and forth to their vehicle at their own pace....no one is pressured to do anything.
The open practice session from will have our experienced team on hand, floating around on bikes giving riders tips/advice/help etc...Any one in an orange or yellow WOR Events staff hi viz bib is there to help!!
You just need yourself /bike/safety gear/fuel!!
