Clatter, Near Newton , Mid Wales.. Is one of our most underrated and infact PREMIER off road venues... Unused for a couple of years ..the venue offers an unbelievable variation in terrain and elevation.
Once you leave the neat and cosy Paddock ..the course winds its way through some small woodlands then climbs up a huge mountain with so many little sheep tracks, open moorlands, rocky out crops, and MINDBLOWING views and backdrops over the Powys Mountain ranges. The track has EVERYTHING a proper Enduro / Hare N Hounds venue should have ..Even the boggy bits are fun and doable...at the top of the venue you literally are riding your bike amongst where the RAF fly their planes through the valleys...simply STUNNING...
Its another venue in our arsenal of quality venues that yet again, lets us put a lap that dwarfs other organistions offerings.. 8 mile minimum to a max of around 14miles ...runs well in all weathers too ... a true riders track.
It is infact one of Steve Ireland's Personal favourites and one that is steeped in tradition of lots of quality events gone by.
A brilliant ENDURO PLAYDAY on Saturday from 10am till 4pm... Open, unlimited practice and playtime ..aimed at all riders.(no under 10's)
The Sunday then has 2 races .. its an open meeting for any rider that fancies it but it is also WESS 2025 series rd 3 for Kids at 9.30am for 1.5hrs followed then by the Adults for 2.5hrs at 12 noon...
If you have not ridden A WOR ENDURO SPORT event at CLATTER before then get booked in ASAP and make sure you enjoy this as, like stated ...its totally underated and not ridden enough.. The WOR team have a brilliant knowledge of the venue and create a flowing and enjoyable loop that needs to be ridden to believe it..
