The new WESS 23 (Wor Enduro Sport Series) is a comprehensive 15 rd (16 with wildcard) championship with the riders best, lucky for some, “13” rounds to count.
Set on the, I think we can agree, The UK’s finest off road Motorcycle terrain and venues, From North & Mid Wales, across country to Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcs, Beds, Cumbria and a few possible BRAND NEW ones that are available to the team…running on 4 mile laps leading through to 15 mile laps ..we will endeavour to produce and provide the safest, best organised hare n hounds Enduro and Enduro type events to truly crown our WESS champions of all the classes.
Each event in the WESS 23 will have 2 races ..(3 once the Autos Start in Late April) The Junior race and the Adults ..New classes for the series and a new format for some longer . more exciting finishes. The Kids race will be 1.5hrs and the adults will be 2.5hr but THE ADULT races now will have a + 1 lap added to the leading rider at the full time mark …thus making a ie..adult race ..2hrs 45 mins at least….. Falling in line with the very popular GNCC series in the States and offering just that little bit more to the sport of Enduro racing on a dirt bike.
The new classes are as follows, The Kids are now going back to an age related groups that allow all riders to have a go..
The autos Race will have 3 classes now
5/6yrs and 7/8 yrs and then non-competitive new “Rookies 5 to 8”
The kids 1.5hr race will have these classes:
9/10 yrs - 11/12yrs – 13/14yrs - max 125/150cc
The Adults Race will now host these classes:
EXPERT / CLUBMAN / VETS A (035 )/ VETS B (O35) /OVER 50 / GRAND MASTER 57+/ SPORTSMAN-NOVICE (1 CLASS) / YOUTH 13-16
All riders adult and junior will be required to have a NORA licence ..So if you are doing any event with results in it, like a “race” .. you will NEED the Competition licence that NORA offer… this will also obviously cover riders for our RED Enduro Playdays that always run on a Saturday before our races…Licences are available online only direct from NORA at www.nora92.com/2023-licence/ - ( riders doing only REDs will need the Nora Enduro or Practice licence that is available, But we recommend getting the full licence including the personal accident cover if you can ..its a massive bargain at £90
To enter ANY round of the new series is easy.. Simply go online at www.worevents.com and find the relevant event ..Fill in all your rider details and turn up at the race.. Go to the sign on van ...Pay your fee cash or Bacs if signal allows..and away you go… Riders Must be booked online with all their details submitted.We will do our best to accommodate your rider number on bike but our Members get priority on them. If you wish to become a “ member” for 2023 with WOR… Get your own permanent race number and get £20 off an event weekend (and get 100 percent acceptance to any event even if stated full- members right!)
